£50 to £60 depending on location.

Price includes all materials and equipment.

You get to take your completed trug home with you at the end of the day.

No experience required, so ideal for beginners or above

Group size

Join us for a lovely, relaxing workshop and learn a new heritage skill surrounded by the history of Wales.  

What you will learn:

  1. How to weave a handle and join it to a pre-formed rib to create a frame
  2. How to add ribs to the frame
  3. How to weave the body of the basket to complete your gorgeous creation

We grow our own willow using organic methods on our smallholding in West Wales and also source some from Somerset.

No experience required, so ideal for beginners or above. Cost includes all materials and tools.

You will take away your trug at the end of the day, to enjoy at home for many many years.

This tour is organised and managed by West Wales Willows

Minimum age is 16. 8 years old but no experience is required, so this is an ideal group activity for beginners or above. All equipment and materials will be provided.

Toilets are available.

Please bring lunch and drinks with you.

We may be able to arrange catering for groups, at an additional cost. Please talk to us about this.

There is free off road parking (for car or coach) at the church.
