A traditional sandstone Victorian Methodist Church and attached School Room restored in 2021 as a vibrant worship and community space.

Claimed to date back to around 520AD, the present tower was built in the 13th century, and most of the body of the church was rebuilt in the 19th century.

St Martin’s was built c1200.

You can't come to Canterbury without visiting the world famous cathedral, site of the shrine of Thomas Becket and the seat of the Archbishop.

The year 1750 is embossed in lead on the porch doorway and services are held once every fortnight. Inside there is a warm and welcoming atmosphere of a traditional country chapel complete with a pot bellied stove. Sheep and cattle graze in the next field and dry stone walls bound a woodland fringe and hay meadows. It is a place of peace and tranquillity.</span></span></p>
