The ruins of St Dubhthach's church can be found by the Clachan Duich, the traditional burial ground of Clan Macrae.

Located on the Black isle near Milton of Redcastle, there has been a church here since 1223AD

In 1799 the Congregational church was built at Thurso seafront. In 1871 owing to the poor condition it was decided to build somewhere else.
