In medieval days the parish of Godstone stretched for eleven miles along the Roman Road from Marden Park in the north to Felbridge in the south, at no point was it more than two miles wide.
St Peter’s is an Anglican parish church serving the village and parish of Tandridge, in East Surrey. We are part of the Oxted Team Ministry, formed in 2014, which comprises the parishes of Oxted, Hurst Green, Tandridge and Crowhurst.
From our beautiful medieval building, watched over by the ancient Tandridge Yew, St Peter’s gathers a living, growing church, committed to serving this locality. Our threefold mission is: Knowing Christ; Growing Community; Renewing our Heritage.
