Gothic style church, built 1814-16, with nave and two stage tower. The building was enlarged in 1844 with side aisles and a chancel added in 1880. Stone ashlar walls with concealed roof construction above fan vaulted lath and plaster ceilings. There are fine wardens and sidesmen pews.

Lovely late 19th century stained glass at ground floor level, with especially fine early 20th century examples in the clerestory. There is a mid 14th century font from the redundant church of Covenham St Batholomew. Some recent, fine restoration work of vault laths demonstrate early 19th century construction techniques of this building.
