Meet Karen

“Hello, I am a Built Heritage consultant who’s worked in the private and public sector in Scotland for over 25 years, managing and delivering projects for congregations and communities, as well as for private clients. I am based in Perthshire and enjoy working with people who are passionate about their buildings and helping them to realise their potential. I am excited to meet and talk to everyone involved with ecclesiastical architecture and to guide them through the advice and support available to them locally and from the National Churches Trust.”

They bought a church building – now they have to keep it running

When the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) church outgrew the buildings, they were renting, they bought an abandoned church. The disused building has been transformed into a thriving community church. And this is just stage one of the journey.
