Barningham Winter , Norfolk
St. Mary the Virgin, Barningham Winter is a Grade II* listed and is built of flint and lime mortar with limestone quoins and dressings. The roofs are tiled. The church stands in the grounds of Barningham Hall and is partly ruinous. It consists of the original 14th century chancel and a Victorian porch built in the old nave. There is an outside stairway leading to a substantial gallery with seating over the porch. The remaining walls of the old nave stand some 2.5 metres high. The partially ruined tower houses a rare cast iron bell and a medieval Purbeck marble font.
