Built in 1975, St Philip’s is a small brick building with sloping roof bearing a single bell turret and a later extension.
The church was built with money from a grant from the Joseph Rank Benevolent Fund.

The building is a modern, single storey design in brick which opened in 1966.
The interior is simple and functional; an entrance lobby, vestry and 3 classrooms, a kitchen and minister’s flat, seating is on individual chairs and there is clear glazing. The building is Methodist owned, but it has operated as an Anglican/Methodist ecumenical church since 1982.
