Wales only Oratory of Saint Philip Neri is a stunning Perpendicular Gothic revival building featuring an authentic relic of St Alban, Briton's First Martyr; a Pugin Marian Altar in the Lady Chapel; and a full sized exhibition of the Shroud of Turin, the Burial Cloth of Christ.

Built in 1911, St. Alban on the Moors is home to Wales only Oratory of Saint Philip Neri, the religious order of men brought to Britain in the 19th century by Cardinal St John Henry Newman.
Open seven days per week for worship and private prayer, the Oratory is also home to an authentic, first class relic of St Alban, Roman soldier martyred in Hertfordshire in AD 250 - the only one on permanent, public display. The Oratory also hosts a full-size replica of the Shroud of Turin, the Burial Cloth of Jesus, with exhibits showing the implements of the Passion. In the beautiful Lady Chapel, the Oratory offers daily worship on a Pugin Altar of the Annunciation, featuring Victorian era images of St Gabriel and Our Lady.
Complimentary self guided tours are available throughout the building, as well as interpretative signs for visitors. A full daily schedule of worship, including the Clerks and Scholars of the Oratory Choirs, is posted in the porch each week and online.
