Christ Church Kensington Liverpool is 151 years old, the church is on the national heritage list for England and is considered worthy of preservation.

As a church building in the community for over a hundred years, the histories of generation that's people grandparents having been christened, baptised and married in the church. People have a lot of memories and experiences tied to the building and we are keeping and passing on cultural traditions.
The building is an important landmark in the community and can be seen from anywhere in the city. It was also very instrumental in the second world war as the soldiers used the tower as a viewing tower in case of attack in the community.
It has now been acquired by a local church in Kensington, Christian Gold House Ministry, whose vision is to restore and have the building fully functioning as a church again and a thriving community hub, with facilities such as soup kitchen, sewing classes, coffee morning, youth club, weddings/function suite, celebration and other activities.
