Find a church

Set on the Llyn Peninsula, St Mary is medieval in origin but the font is the only survivor of this age, a roughly hewn monolith in brown stone, painted white on its inner face, almost sunk into the shaft beneath.

Holy Ghost church was built in the early English style by Canon Alexander Scholes, who is buried in the church grounds and his memorial headstone is on the north side of the church.

A beautiful church in the Georgian gothic revival style, built in 1837, with a bright interior with clean lines.

St Aelhaiarn (also spelled Aelhaearn) was a 6th century saint, and as with many of the early Welsh saints, he was a member of the aristocracy, the son of one of the Welsh princes.

Built in 1692, by the Thynne family (now Marquess of Bath), the church houses many 'Maidens Garlands' from late 1700s.

The church was built in the Decorated style in1864/65, by WJ Hopkins.
