Gazing across the River Dart from Kingswear, you can see the ancient church of St Saviour.

Sometimes referred to as the little church with the big heart.

After falling into disrepair St Mary's was rebuilt in 1879 by the Earl of Portsmouth. Its Norman roots can be found in the arch above the south porch and the small chancel window.

St Petrox church at the mouth of the river is the oldest of the three parish churches, the earliest reference being in 1192 when it is thought to have been referred to in a deed as the 'monastery of St Peter'.

Built in 1873 to hold 240 people by at that time 12 original members, some of their relations still members of the church today.

A medieval church with lovely stained glass windows, the churchyard has lovely views over the rolling mid Devon countryside.

St Matthias was built as a Chapel of Ease of St Mark, Torwood.

This small but beautiful church is located in the very centre of Sancreed (Cornish: Eglossankres) in the inland parish in the Hundred of Penwith, about four miles west of Penzance and forms part of the gloriously wild and ruggedly beautiful area of West Penwith at the most westerly tip of Cornwall.
