For many years, people have worshipped on the site of St Peter's, in the small, rural village of Trusthorpe and visitors have often remarked on the atmosphere or spirit of the place.

Situated by the River Avon, the Grade I church has Norman foundations and was enlarged in the 14th century.

A 900 year old Grade II* building with great architecture and modern facilities which is open every day for community events.

Legend has it that Illtyd used to retreat to this spot during Lent.

St Peter's has recently been remodelled which gives better access to the community.

A beautiful 13th century church with a well preserved Ankers House Museum, it houses a copy of the Lindesfarne Gospels.
