Welcome to the Cathedral, close to which we believe the mortal remains of Saint Patrick lie buried, not merely a tourist attraction but a place of pilgrimage and prayer for all people.

St Mary’s is a beautiful 19th century Victorian Gothic building, the third church on this site in Andover where God has been worshipped for over a thousand years.

Ancient and quietly awe inspiring in its simplicity; the remote location, the silence inside, the slight smell of damp and the obvious centuries of use speak of a village that has retained its identity for many generations.

Its tall, sturdy looking 14th century tower is one of the oldest features of this church, which incorporates a mix of differing styles.
