St Helen’s is a 14th century church (Grade II* listed) at the centre of the small village of Plungar in the Vale of Belvoir.

Since its opening in 1858 the Cathedral has served a diocese covering the counties of Cornwall, Devon and Dorset and provides a welcome to all.

This church has strong American associations as during the Second World War some 6,000 men and women of the 351st Heavy Bombardment Group Eight, United States Army Airforce, was stationed at the newly created Polebrook Airbase.

Polesworth Abbey welcomes visitors every day, to the abbey, gatehouse, cloister and refectory.

Another Suffolk church in a superb setting, St Mary's is set on a hill, away from the road, overlooking the valley of the River Box.

Built in 1865 of local sandstone with a Gothic style bell tower, excellent stained glass windows and a series of 25 frescoes decorating the interior.
