Find a church

The first thing you notice as you arrive at Christ Church is its garden setting surrounded by trees, an ideal setting for the summer fayres and and church picnics.

St Peter & St Paul is said to be the finest example of Victorian Gothic Revival in Dorset.

It is not known when there was first a church here but the present building indicates that a substantial church was built on this site in the late part of the 13th century.

The church stands among the trees on the bank of the River Frome, beyond are peaceful meadows and the rush of the water.

Originally just 'St Teilo's', the church was one of several (of numerous denominations) built in Cathays in the opening decades of the 20th century.
