An anglo-catholic church situated in Britains oldest recorded town and is a house of worship and of historical, architectural and artistic interest. being a repository of Colchester's heritage.

St Botolph's church is of special interest as a late Georgian town church built in a powerful neo Norman style, listed Grade II.

A vibrant, peaceful and welcoming church surrounded by beautiful countryside which has been a place of christian worship for over 500 years.

The church has a famous Pugin rood screen and set in front of it a marble nave altar and a Queen Anne pulpit from which the Wesley brothers have preached.

The church dates back to Saxon times and was largely rebuilt between 1864 and 1867, it features 12th century herringbone masonry on the south wall, rather unique in this part of the country.  

The church is over 100 years old.

One of the finest 18th century parish churches in Scotland, but its roots go much further back.

This Grade I church has a late 12th century interior but is externally Perpendicular.
