Exeter Cathedral is one of the great Cathedrals of England, and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture anywhere: inside you’ll find a building which has lived through war, political unreset, the Exeter Blitz and much more.

St Martin’s was built c1200.

The Grade I church has a mainly Perpendicular exterior.

This beautiful place has been a focus for its community and for countless visitors for just shy of 800 years, with the best preserved Magna Carta of 1215.

Situated by the Avon, the church has a Norman tower but the rest is by TH Wyatt in 1851.

This is a beautiful 11th/13th century building overlooking the River Severn with excellent stained glass windows, a wonderful roof beam structure and a number of listed monuments in the churchyard.
