A 12th century parish church, St Beuno's may have been used as a royal chapel during the early Middle Ages, as the princes of Gwynedd had a court in Aberffraw.

St Christophers stands boldly and majestically in the Somerset skyline and can be seen for miles all around the Somerset levels.

With its commanding central tower and elevated position, this cruciform church presides over its village very much like a small cathedral.

The church has Victorian origins but the chancel contains dramatic murals from the 1960s depicting the crucified and enthroned Christ flanked by angels.
