St Breward is a Cornish parish high up on the western edge of Bodmin Moor with some of the highest ground in Cornwall.

Over 700 years old, set in a peaceful churchyard with a glorious 14th century Tree of Jesse window.

A church has stood here since the 7th century, the current church was consecrated in 1090.

Gorgeous church with an Anglo-Saxon name beside an ancient Holy Well and huge Celtic Cross attest to over a millennia of worship.

The mines are gone but the church still stand proudly on the hillside and welcoming everyone who wishes to enter.

This church, positioned opposite the remains of Mitford castle, dates from 1135 and houses an historic bell and leper squint.

Dedicated to St Martin of Tours, a Roman soldier who cut his cloak in half to give to a beggar, the church is predominantly a medieval building.
