Kilpeck is a modest village hidden away in west Herefordshire, but its church is world famous for its 12th century sculpture and carving, made by a group of mason/sculptors known as the Herefordshire School.

A beautiful, peaceful Cotswold church which is believed to date from the 13th century, and is the church where Edward Jenner married Catharine Kingscote in 1788.

Close to the book town of Hay on Wye, St Mary’s has some original Norman features including the blocked up ‘devils door’ in the north wall.
