The largest medieval building in the city known locally as St Mary in the Lace Market.

A romantic church that stands alone, shorn of its former medieval village, looking out across the Capability Brown landscape of 1760’s toward Fawsley Hall, the seat of the Knightley family and now a country hotel.

The church is a sole survivor of a complex of medieval and Jacobean buildings which constituted first Warkworth Castle and from the 17th century a large Jacobean house.

A Grade I listed church built in 1150 with a Norman tower and north door, which features an unusual sharply arched head and rare examples of beakheads and zigzags.

We are a small 'Chapel in the Fields' church and are 300 years old this year, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and stunning views.

All Saints is a typical village parish church, but it can be found in many guide books, as it is nationally and internationally famous for its stained glass windows by William Morris.

Hucknall has a fascinating history and heritage, many of the famous people who once lived here, went on to help shape the world, whether through literature, the arts, the built environment or early computing.

The church was designed by Vernon Royle, who was much influenced by Sir Basil Spence’s three churches in Coventry.

The church is at the south end of the village adjacent to Eydon Hall, and oddly, both it and the hall post date this fascinating village.

Opened in 1905, the church is famous for its 1966 carvings at the top of the pillars by the sculptor Witold Gracjan Kawalec, representing Work, Peace, Mercy, Hope, Life, Guidance, Humility, Justice, Grace and Music.
