Welcome to our beautiful and ancient church in its beautiful parkland setting in the Marches, between the River Wye, apple orchards and the hills flanking the Welsh border.

Mysterious trapdoors, buried Sarsen stones and ancient yew trees.

Originating in the 13th century, St Mary’s commands one of the finest views across the River Wye as well as being home to the shire’s largest font.

The church adjoins the gates of Charlton Park.

Dating back to the Norman Conquest, our church has one of the oldest examples of a medieval stained glass window in the country, dating back to the year circa 1320.

A lovely rural church and churchyard both containing historical items highlighting the connections with the former RAF Station at Lyneham, in particular the Lyneham stained glass window unveiled in 1990 by Her Majesty the Queen.

This Grade I church is to be found in a farmyard setting.

This Grade I church has a Norman chancel arch and Norman font.

Unchanged since its rebuilding in 1679; an oasis of tranquillity in a stunning location.
