St James is on the side of the B5023 between Shottle and Wirksworth. It can also be reached by travelling the Ecclesbourne Railway which runs between Duffield and Wirksworth.
The church is a Victorian building which is open daily and hosts community and visitor events, details of which can be found on this page and the Wirksworth Ministry website.
