Christian worship can be traced back to the 7th Century on this site near the banks of Loch Lomond, with St Ronan's Well as the edge of the Glebe. The church was taken over by a community Trust in 2021 to be developed into a multi purpose community venue and heritage centre, as well as a locus for Christian outreach. It is in the process of being restored, but Kilmaronock Old Kirk Trust already have in place graveyard tours with the stories of twelve renowned people of the area. In the fullness of time, we will develop a green burial ground in the Glebeland.
