A small thatched church set in old Ringsfield in the Waveney Valley in Suffolk. The village population is approximately 350.

The church has a very attractive crinkle-crankle wall on the southern boundary of the churchyard which, together with some monuments, is classified as being of national historic architectural significance. One of these is an elegant monument containing a youthful angel with two companions knelt at her feet. This memorial is to Princess Caroline Murat, grand niece of Emperor Napoleon. There is also village history with diagrams, tables and text in the tower of the church.

The church is open daily so that visitors can read the village history at any time. The church has a new detached toilet, the nearest being in Beccles three miles away. Our congregation does not subscribe to the view that , church is for Sunday worship only, but that it should be used more widely by the community throughout the year.

At the moment we hold concerts, heritage coffee mornings, an Arts Festival, Church Explorers visits family history from church records, plus three services a year with children from the local church school.

We have a small snowdrop and aconite wood attached to the church yard, we are transforming this into a community space, with seats paths and information boards in the near future which will show how we manage the wood. The churchyard is designated a nature area by Suffolk Wildlife trust and there are two sections of the churchyard set aside for this purpose.
