St Edmund's has a beautiful exterior and a light, attractive and peaceful atmosphere. It is light and airy inside with a beautiful sanctuary area complete with stained glass angels. It has a lovely 'Sursum Corda' stone carving over the front door and is a place of peace and tranquillity despite its position at the intersection of three main roads.

There are attractive stained glass windows in the sanctuary and the domed ceiling gives a beautiful sense of the transcendent.

It is a compact church but despite this it has an open and uncluttered feel and is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the peace and presence of God.
