Offchurch, Warwickshire
A stone coffin discovered beneath the porch may have been that of King Offa himself.
The present sandstone church is mainly Norman, with a 15th century tower. The noticeably crooked sides of the chancel arch recall its rebuilding in the 14th century after it collapsed.
The north doorway has fine Norman carvings that had been plastered over and were uncovered in 1833.
Later work includes the 18th century oak pulpit and some good 17th and 18th century monuments.
