This is an ancient enigmatic building in a rural setting of Hart, adjacent to the remains of the de Brus Manor House and medieval fish pond field.

Originally Anglo Saxon but extended between the 12th and 15th centuries. The church was restored in the 19th century. Of note are an Anglo Saxon cross head, fragments of Viking cross shafts, a pre-Conquest sundial and a 15th century carved octagonal font. Two stained glass windows commemorate the fallen in the World Wars.
