Yelden, Bedfordshire
The church consists of a nave and chancel with a south aisle added later. It has a tower and broach spire housing four bells, now rung electronically. Much restoration work has been undertaken during the last two decades including conservation of ancient wall paintings. The pulpit was also restored and in 1659 led to the removal of the incumbent, William Dell who allowed the non conformist, John Bunyan to preach the previous Christmas.
