Over Compton, Dorset
There are several monuments to the family in the church, the most outstanding being that of Robert Goodden, who died in 1828.
It is made of white marble and is life sized, with the Squire and his clothes beautifully observed in an informal pose.
The church has a lot more to see, including a three decker Jacobean pulpit.
