You might visit Beeston and Peckforton Castles and then visit Hargrave Church!

The church was built in 1627 by Sir Thomas Moulson, a wealthy merchant and Lord Mayor of London.

The interior timber work derived from the Swedish flag ship 'Wasa’, built between 1626 and 1628. It foundered and sank after sailing about 1,400 yds into her maiden voyage on 10 August 1628. There is a historic window featuring St Peter and St Andrew and a stunning reredos.

The church is a special, peaceful space and visitors are always welcome!
