St Aidan is a fine example of neo-Gothic architecture designed by Temple Moore with some unusual features. The Father Willis organ, originally installed in Park Hall in Cardiff is a fully working instrument of note. The church has an outdoor pulpit and furniture designed by the architect. The east window was designed by Harry Grylls and installed in 1945 as a war memorial to those of the parish who fell during both World War I and II and whose names are inscribed in the pavement in front to the altar.
