Work started in 1937 and the church was opened for worship in 1939, built for the miners of Thurcroft Colliery. A scheme was completed in 2011 to create a church meeting room which is sympathetic to the main worship space which includes a Lady Chapel.

Monday Little Saints toddler group starts at 1.15pm (term time only).
