St George's has a unique series of medieval wallpaintings depicting the Last Judgement on the entire west wall of the church, and the Camoys family, attired in contemporary armour, and also in dignified prayer, on the north and south walls.

The oldest full size brass of a woman is to be found hidden in the floor of the nave and at the altar steps there is a magnificent double tomb of Thomas Lord Camoys who led the Left flank of the English army at Agincourt (1415), and his second wife, Elizabeth Mortimer, previously married to Harry Hotspur . A fascinating glimpse into history and personages from the Wars of the Roses.
