We’ll tread lightly as we thread our way through romantic ruins, hidden alleyways, churchyards and church interiors created amongst the skyscrapers of the financial district.
Seriously off the beaten track, yet in the oldest part of London, we will introduce you to some places of delight. Gardens created in the ruins of churches, tucked away amongst the buildings of the financial centre. We will go inside one or two churches along our walk to contrast architectural splendour with medieval atmosphere. Romantic, intriguing, beautiful. Bring along your camera and your soul.
Donations to the churches visited are included.
