Pilgrim Trust
England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales
The Pilgrim Trust gives grants totalling approximately three million pounds each year to charities and other public bodies that focus on preserving the UK’s heritage or bringing about social change. Their funding is directed towards the preservation projects aimed at preserving the fabric of architecturally or historically important buildings, and towards improving the mental health of women aged 16-25 by increasing their access to high quality, age and gender specific mental health services.
The Pilgrim Trust is a longstanding partner of the National Churches Trust, they support our Foundation grant programme each year through a £260,000 donation, helping us fund small repairs and maintenance to churches across the UK. They also support the National Churches Trust's Nayler Awards for Excellence in Church Maintenance, to encourage and and celebrate some of the fantastic work that takes place in many churches, mostly by volunteers.
