Top tips

  1. Use accessible and direct language, avoiding any jargon.
  2. Make sure there are quotes and good quality images that will enable the journalist to tell your story.
  3. Think about who you’re sending it to and what information they need to tell the story well.
  4. Proofread before sending! You never know what mistakes may creep in.

In the template, you'll find

  1. The headings you need in red
  2. Information about what to include in regular text
