Church & Chapel Walking Festival 2024
Church, chapel, saint, pilgrim, holy well and more.
These amazing places and spaces across the UK are there to be enjoyed on a guided walking experience.
The UKs independently run walking festivals offer a wealth of walking opportunity and we are celebrating these. There are many more walk types to explore so do click in, plan ahead and enjoy a walk guided by experienced walk leaders, often volunteers. Festivals encourage people to visit, stay, eat, drink and shop supporting communities and local economies.
Our churches, chapels and meeting houses are blessed. They are set within some of the finest natural landscapes in the country, and to visit is to discover the past, present and future of our place within them. Our villages, towns and cities are great places to start, and often have a local pub serving wholesome homemade food and local ales!
Here we list a wide variety of guided walks visiting churches, all being held as part of walking festivals across the UK.
