In the heart of the Somerset village of Nunney, within 200m of Nunney Castle, the village is at the east end of the Mendip Hills.

At the heart of the village is the Grade I Listed church which sits close by and overlooks the medieval moated castle. The church was largely built in the 14th and 15th centuries and contains the effigies of the early residents of Nunney Castle (English Heritage).
There is a war memorial and a number of 18th century chest tombs in the churchyard which looks down on the ruins of the castle. It has a 15th century screen and a newly restored barrel vaulted ceiling in the nave.
It is in the heart of the stone village of Nunney which has many beautiful houses, a castle, pub, cafe and shop and is a great spot to walk with children and dogs. Teas are sold in church on Sunday afternoons in summer and there is a secondhand book stall.
