Poulner, Hampshire
Since 1945 there has been considerable residential development in the area and so the church has the opportunity to serve this community. The church is much valued by its congregation and is very well maintained. It has a much more informal feel, with more contemporary services, than the parish church and St Paul’s at Bisterne.
St John’s is a vibrant, busy and sociable church. The congregation is drawn mainly from the surrounding large residential area, and they enthusiastically demonstrate faith in action and embrace new forms of worship. Plenty of welcoming social events are held here.
