Within the sanctuary steel girders were used in the construction, representative of the fact many members worked in the steel works once prevalent in Lanarkshire. We began as a hall church, with a stage at one end and the chancel at the other, with seats being turned around accordingly. Now we are fortunate to have a suite of halls which are well used by church and community organisations. We have plans to further improve our building to provide a lasting legacy for the future.
