The north side of the chancel has a monument to Frances Alington who died of a broken heart after the death of her betrothed, in 1828, aged just 28. It features a white marble monument on a black marble field, and a weeping angel with dipped torch. It was created by E Gaffin.
Dating from the early 13th century, this Grade II listed church consists of a west tower and porch, nave and baptistry, a rectangular chancel and a north vestry. The plain drum font is medieval and the 13th century piscina in the chancel is worth a mention.
