The church is stuccoed. It has an 18th century stone tower with brick battlements. The pulpit is exceptional. The stem is the bole of a tree, with its steps cut from another.

A memorial slab commemorates Sir John Byllesby who died in 1640. He was a prominent figure in his day. His descendant, Major H M Byllesby served in the US Air Service and is largely responsible for the restoration of the church in 1918.
