Lovingly known as 'the church on the roundabout', thanks to the 9th Earl of Scarborough who donated the land for the church to be built at the focal point of the town.
It is believed the first parish church of Skegness was built in 1280, but this was destroyed in the flood of 1526.

Master Thomas 'de Perar, the first rector of Skegness vacated his post in 1290, or so the board in the church informs us.
The present church of St Clement is believed to date from around the middle of the 17th century, but is does contain stone in the tower from the earlier church.
A rare Breeches Bible can be seen on display in a glass cabinet. Also of interest is a sword, set in stonework above the entrance doorway.
