Little Bealings church is a small and endearing building in an idyllic setting, which serves a small but picturesque parish about three miles from Woodbridge and five miles northeast of Ipswich.
Great Bealings, Suffolk
The church is of rubble flint with ashlar dressings and brick. C16th with C19th additions. West tower, nave, chancel and large early C16th brick north porch which bears the iconography of the Seckford family. It has a range of late C19th and early C20th glass, including the west window, attributed to Ward & Hughes. Much of the rest of the glass appears to be by Lavers, Barraud & Westlake.
The grant will help fund a project to repair the roof and the tower to prevent water ingress.
