St Materiana

A small chapel dedicated to the unusual St Hulanus or Ulette, which was probably built before the medieval castle and constructed on top of the ruins of the Dark Age settlement.

Nestling peacefully in a river valley set in an ancient landscape, St Julitta's dates back to Norman times.

Here at Advent, the simplicity of a beautiful Cornish church, in a field surrounded by grazing cattle, sheep and horses, we can offer a restful, rural location for all occasions.
