The original roofline of the nave and the blocked up arch can be clearly seen.
The interior of the church is full of interest. The dramatic, highly coloured Doom painting over the chancel arch has survived from the 15th century. Below it is an unusual and rather heavy Victorian stone screen. The Perrott aisle, on the north wall, is an Italianate memorial chapel of about 1700.
Don't overlook the tiny Wilcote chantry chapel, a superb example of mid 15th century Perpendicular Gothic, with fan vaulting, a beautiful east window with original glass, and fine alabaster effigies. It is among the treasures of Oxfordshire.
