All Saints
Burnley, Lancashire
A beautiful early Victorian Gothic Revival Church designed by architectural pioneers Messrs. Weightman & Hadfield of Sheffield.
A friendly, welcoming, thriving Methodist church serving a growing community on the outskirts of Burnley.
Burnley, Lancashire
The church, originally a Primitive Methodist chapel, was built in 1902 to serve a rapidly expanding community. The traditionally designed building has had several makeovers, the most recent in 2015, when a major overhaul enabled us to have level access throughout and the removal of the pews opened up a multifunctional space with floor-level, clear windows enabling the community to see what goes on.
Additional meeting rooms alongside the large hall have allowed expansion of our wide range of activities and extended use by community groups as this is the only large building in the area. Particularly successful is the community cafe open on Wednesday from 10am until 12noon which can easily attract 60+ visitors from the wider community each week.
We are also linked to the local Methodist/Anglican school, Wellfield. The Circuit Archive is also held here.
