St Martin’s, dubbed the ‘hidden gem’ in Marple, is a simple Pennine sandstone building in the Arts & Crafts style, with windows and artefacts from that era.

A Grade II* listed building, at the heart of our village, with parts dating back to the 12th century, it has been there for the community over centuries.

The church gives the impression of a typical English village church, sitting at an angle to the geometry of the surrounding roads within its church yard.
